Somewhere at the same time when Sam Brown released her music video for the song Stop, there was a similar blonde singer. She had a music video for her song, in which some apartment was renovating, there were construction workers carrying ladders, working with some glass windows, etc, and she was singing in a red dress lying on a couch. Does anyone remember who was that singer an the name of that song? Very similar to Sam Brown and her song Stop and the video, I have always mixed these two, but can't remember the other one.
I actually do remember that image on video and I remember thinking she had the same style as the one where the girl sitting in a diner singing to a news print and the guy comes out of the cartoon and comes to life, or that group that did walk like an Egyptian.
That is the sound/style I remember, but, I know where you can find your answer....

Thank you for your suggestion. I see lots of questions on that website, but no replies.
The singer and the song I am searching for were most likely one hit wonder. I remember, she, or her band, or the song, had something that sounded like French in the name. Very similar to Sam Brown 1980s pop genre.
