Here is a rockin' progressive (post-punk) song from some old friends about unreasonable protesters.  It draws parallels between the radical socialists and "anti"-facists of today and the political movements leading up to WWII.  Please share, it's all good as long as you don't claim the work as your own, rip it off, make money off it, or claim it set you off on your next psychotic rampage.

There are images captured during election night two years ago, the coverage of results, pundits opining, and the victory speech.  These appear to relate to lyrics about the "cure" and giving "rise to something totally new."  There is also a caution against counter-protesting: when two sides clash, they can both be wrong.

Background:  This is a very old song, with lyrics that weren't about anything, re-written to be about protesters.  Since local music radio shows featuring local musicians are a rarity and have a very long lead time, a hasty project to throw a video together before the mid-term elections was started.  The idea was to depict the band as anti-fuh musicians, wearing bandannas, and disguising their instruments.  In that spirit, I will keep the details of the Anti-Social Shadow Band enigmatic.  The budget was $0.  The amount of time spent was ridiculous.  There are plenty of gold nuggets, almost all unintentional.

Not old enough to know better!

Seriously, you did a great job, but I couldn't hear the words over the music.
Can you post the words so we can read them?

Sick Of Silence

With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.

So I wanted the lyric file to paste in here.  What I got was scrap paper with a bunch of printing in pencil, plenty of strikeouts, and some other markings to re-arrange a serious number of the lines.  I pretty much just had to listen to it.  So I added the samples, some of which I could not make out without hunting them down online.  I gave credit below to the speakers.  Many kudos to Nancy Pelosi for contributing so many fantastic remarks about her protesters!  This song could use less of the maniacs from the world war era and more of her.

Provocateur
(C) 2018 by ASSB (Anti-Social media Shadow Band)

[Adolph Hitler sample, saying a bunch of things that sound like typical socialism]
[Joseph Goebbles, speaking about eliminating Jews from cultural life]
[Maxine waters, speaking about eliminating Republican cabinet members from social life]
[Vladimir Lenin, speaking about "middle peasants"]
[Che Guevara (proponent of worldwide Marxism) speaking against imperialism]
[Hillary Clinton sample: "We cannot be civil"]
[Protesters: "This is what resistance looks like"]
[Nancy Pelosi: "That's enough"]
[Sound of election night rock-thrower]
[Extremely shallow protester: "Beto is way hotter than you, dude"]
[Sound of another election night rock-thrower, juxtaposed with Pogromnacht rock-throwing video]
[Protestors: "Whose streets?  Our streets!"]
[Protestors: "Not my president!"]

[Verse]
Protesters shouting out, yelling so loud
Don't want to be a face in their indignant crowd
Agree with them, say what they want me to say
But the truth vacillates, I can bend it both ways
Liberal chants are now strictly rehearsed
Progressivism gets progressively worse
It doesn't work, we've got to try it some more
No progress made since 1964

[Chorus]
Provocateurs, your hate is pure
Despise the cure, seek complete failure

[Protestors: "Shame"]
[Protestors: "We believe survivors"]
[Nancy Pelosi: "Do you want to hear an answer, or do you just want to shout?"]

Scream all you want, spew all your lies
A facism movement in a thin disguise
Your revolution is in my way
I don't care what you have to say
Socialism is worthless, a total dud
Freedom is priceless, purchased in blood
The truth is needed to completely address
the propaganda spewed by the slanted press

Provocateurs, your hate is pure
Deny the cure, seek complete failure
Envy treasure that you don't deserve
Hate the future where freedom endures

[Nancy Pelosi: "Do you not want to listen?"]
[Hillary Clinton sample: "... this vast right-wing conspiracy..."]
[Illegal immigration supporters protesting Pelosi: "You're a liar"]
[Nancy Pelosi: "You are not helping the cause..."]

Screaming demons, let me loose
Allow me freedom, let me choose
Screaming demons, you refuse to listen
It's a threat to your emotional position
Protesters for hire try to drown out our voice
Central control does not respect our choice
Hear us demand our liberty
Don't need fake diversity

Provocateurs, your hate is pure
Despise the cure, seek complete failure
Envy treasure, you don't want to work
Wish for a future where everyone will be poor

Made the scene you intended
To moderates who you offended
Resentment grows against this point of view
It gives rise to something totally new
Now the mob has to address the people of the counter-protest
Resolute, their belief is strong
Two sides clash but they're both so wrong!

Provocateurs, your hate is pure
Deny the cure, seek complete failure
Jealous of treasure, you didn't want to work
Wish for a future, say we'll all get more
But we'll be equally poor!

[Seriff Scott Israel: "You're wrong!"]
[Senator Maisie Hirono: "Who is perpetuating all these kinds of actions?  It's the men in this country..."]
[Hillary Clinton: "Everybody should be believed at first, until they are disbelieved based on evidence."]
[Dallas Police Chief David Brown voice-over: "The suspect stated he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers."]

Are you all losers, or just freeloaders?
Useless eaters, tools of some fuhrer
Your hate is pure, you're indentured
Such an adventure to be a protester, an idealist social organizer

[Senator Maisie Hirono: "I want to say to the men in this country, just shut up and step up!  Do the right thing."]
[Sound of abortion protester being kicked, and phone dropping on the pavement]
[Abortion counter-protester: "I meant to hit your phone"]
[Abortion protester: "Somebody call the cops!"]
[Election night protesters, unintelligible shouting, and then: "Not my president!"]
[Senator Cory Booker: "...I am Sparticus..."]
[Back to the earlier Adolf Hitler speech]
[Illegal immigration supporters protesting Pelosi: "You're a liar"]
[Nancy Pelosi: "You don't know what you're talking about."]

For Sick of Silence:  Sorry.  I could get an MP3 to share if this forum can be used to upload it, but I haven't seen anyone else here do things this way.  The "ASSB" has not put anything on Sound Cloud, Spotify, or anyplace similar.  I encounter this often, and when I want to put an MP3 on my player, I have to use a service like KeepVid to grab a low-resolution MP4, and use a video editor to export an audio file.  And if I find I really like the music, I patronize the authors somehow.  This is easy if they are local bands, I can go see them and buy their discs, shirts, buttons, and stickers.  But I boycott iTunes.

LiberTEA You Rock!

This is not my style of music, but this group did an excellent job, and whoever wrote the lyrics is genius in their own right. Oh, and a definite hat tip to your excellent work in editing.
I must say, I am truly impressed, hopes it gets the exposure it deserves, and it will get quite a bit here, so let's hope our readership spreads the word.
