A politician thinks of the next election. A statesman, of the next generation.- James Freeman Clarke

Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession.  I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.  ~ Ronald Reagan ~

Saw this yesterday and realized while reminiscing his songs, he was one of the first crossover country singers to hit the pop charts consistently.
Always liked his music.

Very saddened by his passing.  I sat and watched the documentary "Ill Be Me" a couple of times and each time I cried. What an absolutely tremendous talent and I had no idea until I watched it that he was part of the "Wrecking Crew", nor did I know how many instruments he played; including the bagpipes.  Here is Glen singing "Amazing Grace" with bagpipes... very appropriate.  RIP Mr. Campbell!
