A good year for concerts

Yay, we got Stevie Wonder concert tickets! :)

The legendary singer will be performing in Honolulu next month, and we got GREAT seats - fourth row center!

This is a great year for concerts in Hawaii. So far, we've already seen Elton John, Neil Diamond and Kenny Loggins. Stevie Wonder is next month. And Journey returns in December (we probably won't go to that one, though, since we saw them a few years ago). We're hoping that Van Halen comes to town later this year or early 2013.

Well, so much for the Stevie Wonder concert.

The event has been canceled. It turns out that apparently the university arranged the concert through some unscrupulous promoter who had no connection to Stevie Wonder or his agency. The entertainer wasn't even aware of this supposed concert. UH is now trying to get back its $200,000 deposit that it wired to somebody in Florida. The FBI is on the case.

Oh well.

It's a good thing we don't want to kill all the liberals. We'd miss out on some great music.
