Kenny Ball died, March 7, 2013, possibly the last of the really popular traditional jazz bands gaining revival audiences in the 1950s and 1960s. Without much doubt, his enduring #1 contribution was this tune....

"Midnight in Moscow" was (like David Rose's "The Stripper") a continuing hit in both UK and U.S. record sales. Here's a video that also manages to inform --- it's a reel-to-reel tape deck.

Takes a few seconds to get going with the music, but it's worth the wait. Nice stereo in this original version.
