Has anyone else seen this movie?

I was getting together with a collegue from work to watch a movie, eat pizza and have a good time. Instead of a good time we got Veteran. I was expecting Rambo style movie from the cover, but instead you get incoherent anti war bullshit.

Anyway the movie is left wing piece of shit, it tries constantly to sound deep and make profound political revelations about the CIA being al-qaida, the war is for oil and drugs, that western culture is unsustainable and lots of other hippie bullshit.

The acting and structure of the movie is terrible, in conclusion dont see this shitty movie.

  Poster art is ALWAYS designed to trick the audience.  It is the ultimate in packaged cons. Next comes the movie trailers and TV ads, proving Barnum's theory with every airing that indeed one is born every minute.

Speaking of, here's a few I've bought and actually liked. So take it from the TV and movie slut here, these are worth the time.....

Battlestar Gallactica: Blood and Chrome is now out on DVD, along with both the original and the 1980 versions of that series. Blood and Chrome is an above-average prequel from the BSG producers, showing Adama's first duty assignment during the tail end of the first Cylon war. It's well-cast, with good special effects and writing. They evidently learned their lesson from Caprica and went back to the grittier look, which fits.

One older series is now out: Sanctuary, a sort of Warehouse 13 for living "abnormals," with Stargate SG-1's Amanda Tapping as a 149-year-old brunette billionaire part-vampire...which fits into about half of all stories in unexpected ways. The new definition of eerie, Christopher Heyerdahl ("The Swede" from Hell on Wheels) is a recurring co-star as Jack the Ripper. I bought this as a study in use of the new RED digital camera process and wound up hooked on the offbeat scripts, the majority of which are done by the series creator. When Bigfoot slaps you upside the head, you know you've arrived.....

Another DVD offering: Robert Carlyle (Stargate SGU) as Rumplestiltzkin in the amazing Once Upon a Time. Yeah, other fairy-tale characters also come to life here, both in flashbacks to their original realm and present-day antics in a lovely East Coast town, but the spinner of gold clearly dominates this cast.
