I love Star Wars so much. I have a huge collection of memorabilia, comics, and books. Which is why it pains me to say that Disney is running it into the ground. Force Awakens and Last Jedi were abominations of human imagination. Could they not have tried to recreate extended universe stories and bring in the Yuuzhan Vong Wars? Because that was one of the best book series of the lot. What is the opinion of the general opinion of the population?

I liked the Original Three, and nothing else since.

The only one I liked was the original, the other two were good, but not epic as the first. Now the thing is just PC crap.

Sort of the same thing with me, but after A New Hope, I wanted to see the sequel, and that left the door open for Return of the Jedi.  2 and 3 were mediocre, at best, but they did keep me going to see them, which was their intent.

I hate the last two to an extreme degree which is why they are placed lower than is possible. Also, Phantom Menace wasn't nearly as bad as people said it was (I somewhat enjoyed it). The lightsaber duel with Maul is what saves the movie for me.

Starting? I think the latest fiascos should be evidence for a criminal trial.  When I say they stole my childhood, unlike Greta T, I actually mean it!

I own a VHS Player just to play the original three VHS tapes.

Man-O-Man did Lucas ruin them when they came to DVD.

Most movies these days suck. You really realize when you start watching old movies. I watched Lawrence of Arabia the other day and just realized wow, this has an actual storyline not just mindless action and CGI. Dont get me wrong I like action movies but these days few of them are good. There is also a lot of diversity for diversities sake going around, and action movies with like 5`4 130 pound women kicking grown mens ass. Excuse me what? If you want a realistic looking action heroine Brienne of Tarth would be more realistic lol.


Also the last star wars movies break a lot of apparent rules. Why all of a sudden can you be a jedi that beats a powerful jedi that has trained for years and beat him in a fight with NO training? Smdh...

Agree! That's why I watch TMC, though some are colorized, I love the old black n whites, it's what I grew up with, decades before CG crap.
Even Godzilla was entertaining.
