Expendables 3

I know, but hear me out -- I watched it only because Ronda Rousey was in it.  The plot lines of the Expendables series are always horrible, and the never ending chain of action cameos is always just too cheesy (not to mention their references to their movies or real life), but I had to watch.  After I made it through the first 20 minutes, I figured I was going to watch the rest of the movie.

Rousey didn't disappoint, and she's on top of the food chain with action sequences after this movie, because she makes them believable for us consumers of MMA and real fighting,  Any show or movie with fighting in it just kills it for me, because I know nobody can take a straight punch in the face by a strong trained killer and just recoil back to their original position like nothing happened.  I'm not saying this movie didn't have that, but she does her own stunts and choreography, as I understand it, and it looked good.  I want my bad-ass super elite killers to destroy the bad guys, but they can't take straight punches to the face; they are human.

The who's who of action, Stallone, Statham, Lundgren, Snipes, Schwarzenegger, Harrison Ford, Banderas, Randy Coture, and some other new guys, but also Mel Gibson, and Kelsey Grammer --  I just couldn't resist.

Watch it for the fun and the non-liberals who are in it, but not for believability.

I agree, but I just like to watch stuff blow up. Stallone believes in that.

Watching the films as a marathon leaves the impression Stallone was giving screen jobs to his replacements equally as much as his old pals. Mickey Roarke gets terrific lines in #2 --- a standout better than #3 but then again with fewer cast members.
