WARNING GRAPHIC!!! You will cringe.

The below body worn camera from Deputy Nick Carmack shows his perspective of a call from yesterday where he attempted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle and the vehicle fled from him before turning into a driveway.

After turning into the driveway, the driver and one passenger fled on foot, at which time Deputy Carmack deployed K9 Shep who quickly apprenhended one of the individuals. K9 Shep held the individual until Deputy Carmack could place handcuffs on the individual, this was for Deputy Carmack's safety and to make sure the individual did not flee again. The suspect was medically cleared and arrested.

Later, Deputy Rob Wilkins and K9 Knox were deployed to locate the additional individual who fled from the vehicle and they were also located and arrested.

Both suspects were charged with Grand Theft Auto, Fleeing to Elude, Criminal Mischief, and Child Neglect as there was an infant child in the vehicle during the pursuit and who was left in the car when the suspects fled from the vehicle.

We again want to highlight the good work of our K9s and deputies in swiftly apprehending these suspects.

They should have had the dog have him for 2 more hours.

No joke, that is the funniest video I have seen in a long time. That dog had a hunk of ass and was not going to let go. I had a Shepard very similar to that one years ago, she was my best friend and claimed my wife as family. that dog would have given her life for my wife and I never worried about her if she took the dog with her. Damn near as protective as concealed carry,,,,,better in some ways.

Couldn't agree more! This is the reason I've always had a GSD as part of the family.
The last one I bought is a West German purebred, she is an amazing 2 year old dog, as are 99% of all GSD. I agree, I trust her more than my packing a gun here in the forest.
Though I do, it's her keen senses that give me plenty of warning of any predators in the area.
