My heart and prayers go out to the people of WV impacted by the floods. As of now at least 23 have lost their lives. There is no telling how many pets and how much livestock has been lost, not to mention all the property losses. Most folks probably do not have flood insurance. I had four feet of water in my house in 1979 and it was a slow rising flood. However, it was still terrible for so many. Even if a structure is not structurally damaged it cannot be repaired until everything totally drys out or mold will set in.
