Can anyone explain this pic?
I saw it once a long time ago and there was no explanation, and now I see it again, without explanation of course.

Anyone have any ideas? I could come up with a lot of one liners though.

Remember when Cristo (one name) erected that 25-mile pink curtain-structure in Oregon in the 70's?  -Through the forest to the coastline?  Then 'closing the curtain' became 'the act of the artwork'...  Pix 'n film were taken, then the whole structure was disassembled.  One time only art.

The chairs are in the same art-category.  Nutjobs were-- I mean 'art lovers' were buying the chairs individually, taking them home... so as to own a piece of the original artwork.  -Like buying a PostIt Note-size section of the original Whistler's Mother-painting to take home.

The chairs represent the mass-graves of a revolt in Bogata, Columbia.
