Title: Too Lazy For Laundry?
Post by: Solar on September 07, 2018, 01:39:35 PM
What a sad commentary on an entire generation.

New spray for laundry-averse millennials makes dirty clothes smell fresh

Instead, they dump clothes in a pile and wear them again.

Unilever's new Day 2 aerosol spray uses fabric-stiffening molecules and has different versions for delicates and denims.

Marketing head Nathan Olivieri said: "Ensuring their denim is as pristine as possible is a high-pride point for a lot of millennials."

Yeah I know what you mean, I had a roommate that used to throw his dirty shirts in with clean clothes in the dryer to freshen them up.
When my other roommates caught him, shit hit the fan.
I grew up with the guy, talk about lazy. He'd fit right in with this generation.

This, right here, is the argument some millennials use as an excuse to not wash clothes, when in fact, there are hundreds of alternatives.

Reminds me of a product that came out when I was a teenager, Feminine Hygiene Deodorant Spray.  Even then I was nervous about spraying chemicals onto my "feminine" area.  When the lawsuits started coming in the product was taken off the market.  I thought the ad for it should have said, "This product is for the days when you are just too doggone lazy to take a shower."

I don't think the Millennial generation is any lazier than my generation.
