In the war zone of Chicago, an alert CVS manager noticed a suspicious black suspect was attempting to use a fraudulent coupon to which he acted quickly and called the police. Murray Matson, who is running for 48th Ward alderman, felt he was protecting his community and business from the likes of this crooked coupon con artist.

Matson, state delegate, and president of the Log Cabin Republicans of Illinois campaigned on "increased police presence throughout the 48th Ward" -- so it is encouraging to see him being true to his campaign promise.

I don't know if it is common for police to be called out for something like a coupon (by the way, the coupon was not fraudulent, but the woman was black so you have to be careful) -- but according to the story, when he first called the police, they told him his call was frivolous, so he called back again. So I ask, is suspecting someone of using a fake coupon something you would call the police for ?? -- and would you apologize to the police and the woman when you find out the coupon is perfectly legit

Sick Of Silence

How about putting up news articles on all the million other times when the coupon or the whole purchase or return is fraudulent?

I don't blame him on calling the police. I have personally seen a situation where a Target clerk stopped a ghetto broad from using the fake coupon and she got all confrontational to the clerk and a supervisor after she got exposed.
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.
