Small Steps From The EPA

Below is an excerpt from Mark Meadows' weekly newsletter. I live in one of the counties that will no longer have to have emissions test. This is a small step, but a reflection of how regulations are being removed:

"Major EPA News: Counties Exempted from Vehicle Emissions Testing

We had major news this week from the Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA just followed through on a policy from our state legislature to exempt 26 North Carolina Counties (including several from our district) from expensive vehicle emissions testing requirements—abiding by a state law that the NC State Legislature passed last year, Senate Bill 131.
This is fantastic news. Our office in Washington, D.C. had worked extensively with the EPA over the last several weeks to see the exemption implemented, and now they have fully followed through. The testing requirement was an incredibly expensive policy for so many hard-working NC residents and businesses—but the burden is now lifted for several counties!
This is government working exactly as it should—with local governments closest to the issues making decisions."

The biggest problem is when they test newer vehicles like they are old Junkers. There shouldn't be any emissions because newer vehicles aren't going to have emissions issues.

Now, if you see an old boat spewing fumes, then we can talk about emissions.
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.

I bought a new Dodge diesel 3500 4x4 with the new DPF system in 2009, the State said we'd be exempt from smog checks for years, just 2 years later, I get a letter requiring me to get it smog certified.
Pissed, I took it in, the guy said: "get in and hold the RPM at 2500". I did, a few seconds later he says OK, you passed. I said WTF is this shit?
He said the state now requires us to look for smoke, that's it, all for wasting my time and a $60.00 fee to transmit the info to DMV.

Talk about stupid, I hope Trumps order stops this bull shit.  Nine years later, the truck is as clean as the day I bought it, but I still have to do this shit every two years.

Just the state of CA looking for $$$ wherever it might be able to  steal it.

Today I got my tabs for my truck that 15 years old.  It cost 101.00$ for the year.

Nine years old and mine is $200.0+, if I wasn't disabled, it would cost another hundred plus, but I don't get charged weight fees for the disability.
