I bought my quad back in 2006, I have to say, my old Kawi 360 Prairie is still running strong and I've only done oil changes, and this is after rolling it several times, once down a mountain 500' and bouncing 30' in the air.
Sure, it looks like Hell but it's still strong. (I jumped off)

Point is, I bought a brand new 2016 Polaris RZR 900 trail, has less than 500 hrs on it, only 250 miles. Yes, the engine is Hellaciously strong and sound, but the unit was making all kinds of noise so I took it to the shop.
Bearing in the tranny was going out so I said can you check the CV joints, they seem to be going out and glad I did, turns out, the main clutch was history.
Bearing, $50.0, clutch pack, $400.0+, labor, a lot, but I'll get it back this week and it'll be like new.
Every time I thought about selling the Kawi, I needed it because the RZR was either in the shop, had a flat or getting serviced.
I've already spent half the price of my quad in maintenance and repairs on the RZR.

I think I see a correlation here, the Kawi has been sabotaging the RZR for fear of being sold, so I've decided to keep it and spend some money fixing it up. This should alleviate any future issues with my RZR.

New tires/rims, they're so bent they can't hold air for more than a month, needs a valve adjustment, speedo, mine was crushed, needs lights, they no longer point ahead.
Racks bent all to Hell, another thing to replace.

I guess my point is, the Kawi was extremely well built to take what I put it through, I'd hoped to get the same from a Polaris, I didn't, and I haven't even officially rolled it... yet.

OK, just kind of venting because the tractor is in the shop as well and that'll be another 2 grand to fix, and if not for my little quad, my Shepard would go nuts if she didn't get her 3 mile run every night down to the creek.
Anyway, just thought I'd plug Kawasaki for building a damn good and well engineered machine.

Got my Polaris RZR back and it actually drives better than the day I bought it.
This shop did a great job.
