Title: Indian police arrest alleged kingpin of U.S. tax scam
Post by: walkstall on April 08, 2017, 07:05:11 PM
Indian police said on Saturday they had arrested the suspected mastermind
behind a call center scam run out of a Mumbai suburb that targeted thousands of Americans and netted more than $300 million.

Sagar Thakkar, 24, also known as Shaggy, was arrested at Mumbai's international airport in the early hours of Saturday after he flew in from Dubai, Mukund Hatote, a police officer on the case, told Reuters.

Busted!!!! I had a run-in with one of these morons, played him for awhile and made him think I was willing to pay, this went on for about 10 minutes, till I saw UPS pull up and had to end the joke, so I said the checks in the mail and I promise to cum in your mouth, if you'll promise to swallow, then hung up.
The phone rang for a solid 20 minutes before he gave up.

Caller ID actually showed it as IRS, but I knew the IRS doesn't call you, they work through the post office or in person.

I kind of missed the personal interaction when the scam industry went with the robocall, but when I got a live person on the phone, I just couldn't resist.
I remember the anger in his voice when he realized he'd spent all that time, only to find out he was the real sucker...

The ones I like are the ones calling for MS that I have a problem with my computer and they can fix it.    I use to get 2 or 3 a month but now they don't call me for some reason.
