I read this essay written on here and the concept of choice.  I think we always have a choice and choice is a tautology.
One can choose well not to choose.  Second, one's choices that one has can be influenced by differing factors.  Third, other people's choices can affect what choices one has or what one believes one has. 

I don't think it is simple to say we have a choice on anything or not.  I think it is more nuanced.
