HuffPost lays off dozens of staffers

Last week, it was reported that Verizon would cut 2,000 jobs across AOL and Yahoo, which are being combined into a new company called Oath. TechCrunch reported that the merger would result in about 15 percent of employees at the two companies being laid off. About 14,000 employees work at AOL and Yahoo.

First out their door are the obvious redundancies, then, job demotions/pay cuts. Expect more immigrant tech help at lower wages, if you call for help on something, don't mind it if English is like 15 on the dial.

Verizon call me the other night.  They ask if they could do a survey.  I said yes be have someone that could talk in good English call me back for it.   They have not call back yet!   :lol:
