We've been out ripping up the forest, yeah you ecofreaks, we've literally been tearing up the terrain, making new trails over the mountains where even goats shy away from.
That was just to piss off the little libbies out there. Actually we're just running the trails and making new ones here in the Sierra and a hell of a lot of dust to boot.

I thought my quad kicked ass, and there wasn't much I couldn't traverse with it, but this little monster would leave my quad in the dust, or stranded in the creek, even out climbs it, in comfort I might add, though it's a shit load noisier by far.
Dust is a real issue with this ride, so we'll definitely be using dust masks in the future as well as helmets just to keep the noise down.

The nice thing is, it fits in the back of my truck, and even between the wheel wells, which mean it's smaller than the footprint of my quad.

That 5.499$$ more then I paid for my Polaris Sportsman 850.  It will also fits in the back of my truck, and even between the wheel wells.  I have only had it up to 35 myself.  But the boys next door said they has had it up to 65 and had to back off as they were running out of runway.

So does your come with the safety side doors, or is that extra?  I have two seats also, it's a rumble seat in back of the driver.

Give ST 2 Benadryl before going out.

Yeah, it came with doors, but I added a windshield, roof and winch.
I went in to buy the 2015 model because they were offering a rebate, but they were all sold outand all for the best because they didn't come with electric power steering, and this one did, so Toy can drive it easily, it also came with an engine brake, something I've been looking for and 2016 made it standard.

Yeah, I think you'rs can hit 80 mph, but that's scary fast on all terrain tires. My quad did around 60 but that was downright dangerous.
I've had it up to 65 with more to go in this RZR, but the roads around here are only designed for 30, anything much over that means catching air, or a tree on a turn. :scared:

Toy was eyeing your quad for the rumble seat in blue, and I really wanted to get another quad, but this way we could ride in the snow and I can stay warm and dry for a change.
One issue with the RZR is the heat in the cab, it gets hot, at least 15 degrees warmer than the outside temp, which is OK for now, but come summer I'll probably see about insulating the rear fire wall better.
If I'm doing 40 or more, the heat dissipates and you don't notice it, but most of the trails we hit around here are best between 5 and 10 mph, which means I'll be cooking.
But for the winter it should be perfect in the snow.

I have the electric power steering and an engine brake also.  No windshield, roof or winch, but it,s set up for it if I like.

As I remember your a good size man.  With a side by side it must be a tight fit for you.

I wish I didn't need a winch, but in my area it's as necessary as food and shoes, because sooner or later you're going to need it.
I used the one on my quad so much, I had to replace the brushes and cable twice.
If you aren't helping a buddy out of a ravine, or clearing the trail of downed trees and boulders or pulling yourself out of trouble here, then it's sitting in the garage gathering dust.
It's just the way the geography is, it's real mountains, I live about 15 miles from the world famous Rubicon trail, so it's really just an extension of that kind of terrain.

No, it really is quite roomy in the shoulders, just needs more leg room.
I could see a problem if I was like 280 plus, or 6'2", but they added a lot more leg room than the first time I looked at a Polaris about 4 or 5 yrs back or longer?.
I swear, if you we're over 5'3" and 110 lbs, there was no way you could drive it, no kidding, I slid down in that thing and couldn't get my foot to hit the brake, I asked the guy to adjust the seat and he said that was it, that most people don't have a problem, I said most people aren't midget Samurai either.

That's the main reason I hadn't looked at Polaris again, I didn't think they would alleviate the leg room issue, but they did, so much so, Toy needs to slide the seat forward.
I won't lie though, my left leg is perpetually stuck in fetal position the entire time I'm driving, so I'm finding I need to get out at least every two hours regardless and give it a stretch.

I really do miss the openness and visibility of the quad, but I also like the fact I can go a lot more places with Toy that I didn't risk on the quad with a passenger.
As a single rider, I definitely prefer the quad, hands down without a doubt, but as I don't mend as easily as I used to when attired in a more youthful mans clothes, the RZR is probably the wiser decision in my area.

If I need a winch I just go over to the Neighbors place.  He has 5 Polaris 850 and 3 of them have winch's.  He said don't get one, if I need one just come over and get one of his.   At my age I am not going where I can get Stuck.

Which is exactly why I ordered one. Everywhere I go has the potential probability of getting stuck.

Looks fun, but speaking as an extreme acrophobic, I"d watch going where even the goats fear to tread. It's not the fall that will get ya, when you drive off the side of a mountain. It's the sudden stop at the bottom that does.

As for creating "new trails" being "tearing up the ecosystem" with it.

Eh tell the morons on the lib left to eat your dust as you drive by.

Two years from now, if left alone and not maintained/ re-used, you won't even be able to tell Solar or any other human being for that matter, was ever there.

Besides, clearing underbrush out as you are in creating trails (unless it flys that is), helps prevent forest fires.

Something the libs on the left don't want most people to be aware of, as it points the finger of culpability for all the huge forest fires we have, at them.

Yes that's right ladies and gents, if not for eco nuts getting in the way, we wouldn't have ever had some of the forest fires out west, at all.
