Finland has become the world leader in generating a third of its power by nuclear methods, and now is leading in how to store the spent fuel rods. (A lesson not yet learned by Nevada over Yucca Mountain....)

The hilarious part about this incredibly thoughtful, well-researched storage program is coming from the enviro-wackos who say the site shouldn't open because we don't know what things will be like in another 100,000 years....as in, an Ice Age might come and thermafrost might drop that deep into the ground....

...as if anyone will be alive there to care, but that's a different issue, right?
