I just found Peter R's email address and told him to come over if he's able to.  If he responds, he should be easily approved, I think, if he needs to be approved.
Not a problem! Also, anyone remember Dakota?

I can't believe the amount of people who've passed on over the decade. I think I can count 10 off the top of my head.

Yep.  It happens a lot, the older you get.  Our bodies seem to be set up not to last for eternity.  We can help our bodies somewhat but we aren't going to last forever.

Story regarding this, kinda.  In my head-on collision I was badly hurt with a broken neck and broken bones from my neck down to and including my hip.  26 days in the hospital, and I don't know how many surgeries (they never did find my elbow so had to build me one from all the other shattered bones), I was released but had to have wound therapy 3 times a week. I found out at that time that I had had 7 surgeries.  My last surgery (number8) was supposed to be surgery to repair the broken neck.  I had told my neurosurgeon that I believed in miracles and we would see.  He said he didn't believe in miracles, and we both smiled.  Months later, when my neck brace was finally removed, the possibility of the neck having to have surgery was down from 60% to 10%... We opted out of having surgery.  The surgeon agreed and looked at me  and said, "Your recovery was ……..(that signifies the hesitation he did, then he continued with) remarkable".  We both smiled widely.

I prayed (as did other people) for recovery but also acceptance if it was not to be.

I know exactly what you mean. I shattered my pelvis and pubic bone, third degree burns along with multiple injuries, died on the spot, but was told it was not my time, slammed back into my body.
They had scheduled me for surgery to screw all the bones back in place, did one more x-ray 3 days later and everything had gone perfectly back into place, no surgery needed.
Three things in my favor, young and stupid and Gods will.

I'm glad we each made it back to engage in something like this.  mr crepe just told me that Peter R was the person he emailed at Liberty News to let them know I wouldn't be around for a matter of months.  I haven't had any response to my email to him the other day.  Dang!

Now that you mention it, I haven't seen a post in over a year, I could be wrong, I'll check.

That's more recent than anything I'd seen on Liberty News before it went belly up.  If he returns to CPF, tell  him "hi" from me.

He never posts, just pops up occasionally.
