At 2:00 a.m. Sunday, most of us will again have to play games with time-shifting. Here's one view on that ordeal....

Takes me till Feb to adjust to the stupid concept of changing something, solely designed to disrupt lives, and for no other reason than, "We've been doing it for so long, why stop now?".
God I wish some Pol would grow a set and stop this day light saving nonsensical bull shit!

Look hard and long at when November elections coincide with this glorious event, and THEN try to tell me I am wrong for suspecting the worst about the politicians and other dimwits who refuse to change this assault on the human bio-rhythm. Go ahead. Just try.  :cursing:

The entire premise was based on a lie, when in truth, all they had to do was write law effecting silos and rail, instead of punishing the entire nation.
Nah, no conspiracy here...

I would like for the time to remain the same year round.  However, I prefer leaving it on daylight saving time.  I always prefer having more daylight at the end of the day.

I get up in the dark and go to bed in the dark.  I will just go to bed about 12 and get up about 3 on Sunday.      Time is for doctors appointments only.

Are you one of those people who only need a couple of hours sleep at night?

By winter solstice we will ALL be going to bed and getting up darkness!

   For over 60+ years about 4 hrs. a night.   I am one of them people that when my head hits the pillow I am asleep in under a minute.  I have one older brother the same way.    All my other brothers and sisters need 8 to 9 hrs. of sleep.

I'm not sure if that is a blessing or a curse, but I suspect it is more of a blessing because it gives you so much more time to sit around and ponder the condition of the world.

walks, I suspect you developed that habit of four hours sleep because as a kid it took the other 20 hours to get the chores done!!  Now you are just in the habit... seems normal.

I need about seven hours to function at optimum.

I don't lose sleep over it.

It has allow me to work 10 and 15 hrs. days with no problems.  Or stay up with the kids, and let the wife have a good nights sleep or a night out with the girls.

My husband has a similar knack for falling asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow!!
It usually takes me five or ten minutes.  Not bad!!

I have found that the older I get, the better I sleep.  When I was young I used to lay awake and worry about things but as I have aged and lost my memory, I can't remember what I was suppose to be worrying about!
