Howard Schultz on presidential speculation: 'Let's see what happens'
After stepping down as executive chairman Monday, Howard Schultz expressed concerns about the direction of the company, in a wide-ranging interview with CNBC.
Schultz would not rule out a run for president, however, he said 'there's a lot of things I can do as a private citizen other than a run for the presidency of the United States.'

He has no chance as an interview. This one utterance during the interiew makes him unacceptable to the leftist base of the demcrat party:

"However, he also had critiques for the Democratic Party, saying it had veered too far to the left and was overpromising on programs that aren't fiscally responsible."

How dare a democrat be fiscally realistic?
"If you can't run with the big dawgs, stay on the porch!"

Yep, and it also expose just how much trouble the party is in, when a nobody like Schultz can see a potential opening in running on the Dim ticket, in how the party leadership is in shambles and can't find a single possible contender for 2020.
Schultz recognizes this wound as well and is looking to exploit it.

As it stands right now and for the next several years, anyone that runs against Trump is assured a public slaughtering that will end their political career and they all know it.
