I got the word today that our kids, etc., want to take us out to eat for our 50th anniversary. We'd rather just stay home, but we won't disappoint them.

{Sigh......}

And I have an appointment to take our popup for de-winterizing on 5/7 at 1000.

Congratulations as you and your wife celebrate 50 Years young man.  That is a milestone in this day and age.

I do my own winterizing and de-winterizing, we have a 30' 5th wheel.  I can't see pay someone 100$ for something I can do for 15$ and an hour of my time.

I'm not sure how to do it, and besides, I don't want to fill it with the shitty well water we have here.

Anniversary is easy to remember for anyone: 7/11. Hell, even I haven't forgot that!  :biggrin:

Of course I kid.....
My dad wanted to take us kids out on or 18th, 19th 20th, Hell, I think he wanted to take us out the first time we said "I want".
Ohhh wait, you meant dinner? I don't think he had the same "Take em out" in mind. :biggrin:

Either way, an impressive feat of dedication and commitment to one another, speaks volumes on character. congratulations. :thumbsup:

I'm definitely bigger, especially since those years so long ago, and my better 3/4s also watches me for my health issues.

My old boss in my younger years found a frying pan is a equalizer when he was drunk and asleep.  He was always think he was in one hell of a fight at the bar the night before when he got up in the A.M.   :lol: :lol: :lol:
