This past weekend Mrs. Sup and I traveled to northern VA for a wedding. The route took us from extreme southwestern VA to the Washington area. In all my travels I had never traveled here except for some flying trips to Roanoke. We were amazed at how beautiful the countryside is. It is mile after mile of rolling pasture land. The area we visited is also nice. Too bad that area is infested with leftists.

Sitting in my office in Roanoke ... yup, I-81 is a nice drive, mostly 70mph, up the Shenandoah Valley... Gentle breezes, blowing yellowish waves of spring Pollen across the HWY... construction lane closures... bumper to bumper traffic, there and HWY 29...

I kinda like Hendersonville, NC... got a great Christian Camp out there.

I don't live in Roanoke, but near Callands, VA, which takes me over Turkeycock mountain both ways.  The view is heavenly along 619.  On a clear day, you can see 40-50 miles from either direction.  In the morning, it's how the sun just illuminates the mountains, incredible views.   Where I live, it's 45min to the Appalachian mountains, 4-5hrs to the OBX (Atlantic Ocean).  But, wifey really likes the Meadows of Dan... home of Nancy's Candies (chocolate factory).
All animals are created equal; Some just take longer to cook.   Survival is keeping an eye on those around you...
