Of course the progressive trash in academia will proclaim this entirely biased, but it actually IS nice to see someone trying to tell the true history of the President who supported the Ku Klux Klan, was a huge fan of "Birth of a Nation," and did everything he could to show what progressive mentality was (and is) all about.

Arguably one of the worst presidents in modern history (ironically with a black lowlife like the Eightball Obama elbowing him out of the way to take first place) also was able to somehow get the United States into World War I for no good reason other than to pander to munitions manufacturers anxious to sell to both sides. He nevertheless went stridently forward doing everything he could to bring the U.S. into the war almost immediately after being inaugurated, even though he campaigned on exactly the opposite platform.

Wilson was a perfect example of a man with the gift of oratory and political acumen,  who was yet cursed with a mind which did not have much plain good sense nor foundation in anything resembling objective, consistent morality.

Sound familiar?

Eight Ball, that's good.

Mrs Frazetti a sweet, beautiful Italian American lady said :Se si ascolta la molinyama, ragazza è ragazzo, ragazzo è ragazza!

Wilson was a good man. Many, most of his dreams of correcting world wrongs and borders never came to pass. I'm sorry to say.

Wilson was a virulent racist who saluted "Birth of a Nation" at more than one White House showing of that film. Another closeted academic like the traitorous trash Obama, Wilson got us into World War I and got thousands of Americans killed for entirely no reason whatsoever.

Wilson was despicable. Your role models need work.

He was a sham who was the first inkling of today's liberals.

"Segregation is not a humiliation, but a benefit, and ought to be so regarded by you gentlemen."

(in smaller type:)  Said to a black delegation that came to the White House to complain about the segregation Wilson instituted in Washington, DC, when he brought Jim Crow policies to the federal workforce. He summarily dismissed black officials from their jobs in the South and in DC.

Eight Ball, that's good.

Eightball = black and white in color, in pool it's useless or worse until it is removed from the game, the shape of Obama's head is classic "eightball head", he was first elected in 2008 and last but not least, a saying which refers to being in a position to be destroyed, killed or to suffer disaster is "behind the eightball".  I rest my case.

But man-of-low-geography,  your standards for what is "good" must also be very, very low if you apply it to someone like Wilson. He was by all appearances, the absolute antithesis of "good" by most people's standards.

If you equate goodness with people who have "dreams" then you will  run aground even worse on the shoals of reality when confronted by the dreams of Karl Marx, Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler etc. Each and every of the modern world's greatest despots and failures had lofty, moralistic "dreams" which propelled them.

Utopian's Dreams applied to the real world, have caused more collective unnecessary death suffering and loss than any other single thing. So if we would speak of the goodness of dreams, perhaps we should speak of the dreams of sane men and women, not the dreams of hyper-intellectual freaks and lunatics or of any detached-from-reality speculative notion.
