In 2008 on Birmingham gun show I meet Dutch Van Kirk, WWII navigator, who fly on the 58 missions over Europe and North Africa and on the first atomic bombing mission on Hiroshima. He was signing books on history of 509 Composite group, that delivered two atomic bomb. As it happened to be, we lived not far from each other.  People from internet military history forum that I was part of, assembled some questions to the veteran, and when he invited me to his house I asked this questions and with his permission recorded the whole thing on video. Several days ago I found out that he died last year in july... It was strange feeling, because when I was thinking of him for the last year, I was thinking about him as alive... It is sad. I put this interview on Youtube today for the first time , so you can listen it. I am not professional journalist or something like that, but I still think this interview deserve to be heard.
