Then you should have posted it in the existing thread since it was already moved once.
Also it is not topical, in that this is an existing issue, and one that is no where near as important as the election.

Also note the lack of interest in the topic. This is due to a couple of issues, one, topic being way too wordy, and two, it simply doesn't effect anyone directly at this point in time unless you live along the border.

Ask yourself, what interests your target audience and how do you get their attention with the least amount of work on their part?
People look at a post like this, and if you can't catch their attention in the first two sentences, they'll bail.

This is why I said I moved it the first time, I knew your thread would fall into obscurity, and moving it here was a way of salvaging it.

Make it personal, give them a story that connects at an emotional level and how it effects them personally.
