What I find interesting about Albania is that it took President Clinton to unlawfully create the "Greater Albania" of Montenegro, Kosovo, and the western half of Macedonia.  Something that only Mussolini and Hitler was able to accomplish during WW II, and something the national fascist Albanians have been trying to accomplish since 1885.  After the fascists were defeated in 1945 Albania was forced back to their original borders, and they have been trying to get back to their original fascist borders ever since.

Naturally only an American Democrat would sympathize with the fascists in Albania and support the NAZI position.

Albanians are still not a fully formed nation, there is a strong division between Muslim and Roman Catholic Albanians. Muslim Albanians are the majority, they are generally not nationalists, they are political Turks, like most Balkan Muslims anyway, they feel sorry for the end of the Ottoman Empire, and they want Turkish Empire to come back. On the other side, there is a nationalist movement within the Roman Catholic Albanians, they don't want Turkey to come back, they want Great Albania as an Albanian ethnic national state under the dominance of the Vatican, which should include parts of Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, and Greece, and that was the politics of the fascist Albania during WWII. There are also some Orthodox Christian Albanians who are of no significant influence.

President Clinton was the first one to support the Albanians and the Muslims in the Balkans, but after him, it unfortunately became the official American politics in the Balkans, and one of the reasons was probably to compensate for the American anti-Muslim actions in the Middle East, which was a huge mistake in my opinion, because all Balkan peoples were generally pro-American, and so America should have taken more balanced politics in the Balkans for its own gain. Now, there is a strong anti-American movement because of these actions, and America has actually lost a great part of its positions and influence, I mean lost positions and influence in the hearts of the people, since the American ambassadors are still ruling over the Balkan countries anyway, but it is now a position of force, which has unfortunately replaced the American cultural influence from the 1980s.

President Trump's administration is now pressing us to recognize independent Kosovo in order to finally conclude that issue and move on, but the only truth is that there is no other permanent solution for Kosovo issue than bringing Kosovo back to full Serbian sovereignty. And America has taken the loser side, it will prove sooner or later.

The US originally got involved Bosnia because of the ethnic cleansing after the break-up of Yugoslavia.  First by Croatians against the Serbs beginning in 1992, then by the Serbs against the Bosnian Muslims in 1993.  Meanwhile the EU does absolutely nothing to stop the slaughter.  The US had absolutely no business getting involved in what should have been an entirely European matter.

The Ottoman Empire has been dead since 1922, and it is not coming back.  President Clinton supported the national fascists of Albania, like a good Democrat.  Democrats were also pro-NAZI, and still are.  Republicans tend to be exactly the opposite of Democrats.  Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Albania are all sovereign and independent nations, and they will stay that way unless another fascist Democrat gets into office.  There will never be a "Greater Albania" as defined in 1885, unless another Mussolini, Hitler, or Clinton comes into power again.

You know you are on the wrong side of history when your allies for the last century have been the National Fascist Party of Italy, the National Socialist German Worker's Party, and the United States Democratic Party.

It is amazing how the mass media propaganda about the "ethnic cleansing in the Balkans" from the 1990s still rings in the people's ears. But the largest ethnic cleansing of the Yugoslav civil war happened in 1995, when Croatians have expelled around 250,000 of remaining ethnic Serbs from Croatia, killing couple of thousands, while NATO aviation was patrolling the skies to prevent Serbian aviation from intervening. And also when Albanians have expelled around 200,000 of ethnic Serbs from Kosovo in 1999, after the NATO bombing of Serbia. And nobody ever mentions these events when talking about the ethnic cleansing in the Balkans. But I have already said in another topic, if you want to talk about ethnic cleansing in the Balkans, you should begin at least from the 14th century, when Turks started their conquest, it is not some thing that began in 1990s.

The United States were already involved since WWII. I just can't possibly imagine why their strategic decision was to support Croats and Muslims against Serbs; America allying with Vatican and Islam somewhat looks weird. Maybe we can blame the Clinton's Democrat administration, but the same politics continues even after them. Generally speaking of the peoples in Yugoslavia during the 1980s, Serbs and Slovenes were mostly pro-America, Croats were traditionally pro-Germany and pro-Vatican, also Roman Catholic Albanians, and Muslims were pro-Turkey. Soviet Union or Russia had really nothing to offer back then, and nobody looked at them, except for few hard core communists. America could have easily established its stronghold in Serbia, with just a little bit of political and economic help, to unite traditional Serbian lands, and to invest in some economic projects, and with Russia being too weak at that time to get involved into the equation, it would have been a walk in the park. But instead, the American politics was to create a bunch of small countries, and it still remains the same.

When you once had the whole, and now you only have the half, it appears like you have probably done something wrong.

Um, I would not agree, the Ottoman Empire is very much alive in the hearts of the millions of Muslims. Look at Erdogan holding his election rally in Sarajevo, Bosnia, couple of weeks ago.

This is a direct consequence of America helping the Bosnian Muslims during the 1990s. And what the Balkan Christians have been fighting for and dying for during the previous five centuries, just to have the Turks back once again? It is like a disease which has not been properly cured, and it reappears once again.

"Sovereign Kosovo", lol, that sounds like a bad joke. But it looks like a compensation for not recognizing "sovereign Palestine". You must know that the Democrats still hold the power in the Balkans, the people like George Soros, Madeleine Albright, Wesley Clark, William Walker, Eliot Engel, and their alikes, and they hold the shares in some Kosovo companies. They are now forcing Macedonia to allow Albanian as the second official language, which is a move towards the further Albanization of Macedonia. They are working on inciting a civil war in Serbia, so that the northern autonomous province of Vojvodina could secede, and become another small state. And all that during the Trump's Republican administration. I believe that the Balkans deserve the same serious treatment like the Middle East has. In the end, if Iran attacks Israel, the closest friendly country, in which Israeli refugees would be honestly received as brothers and sisters, is Serbia.
