So I was searching CFP for info on the Trump Foundation after a libbie brought it up, and came across this thread from back in 2016, long before I was here. Reading it I was STUNNED to see how anti trump ppl here were back before we really knew him and thought he was a leftist in disguise  . No one can claim the members of CFP are trump cultists after reading this. Clearly the love for trump here now was grown organically from real actions by trump proving he was a patriot, not some blind sycophancy like the left does.

And that was one of the nicer things I said about him. Boy, was I wrong, and have admitted it several times on this forum. I, and others here, are not republicans, we are conservatives. I can not tell you how pleasantly surprised I was when Trump started rolling back regulations, and nominating people to fill the court vacancies.  Trump was acting like a conservative!!!!  Deep down I came to realize Trump LOVES this country. November 3rd, I will vote with pride for Trump, and do not mind admitting I was wrong about Trump.

With 4 more years he just may make a politician no longer a dirty word.  But then we have a lot to do cleaning congress of RINO's.  One man (person) can not do it all.  Remember it took 70+ years to get to this.

I'm glad I was wrong. I was just tired of reformed Dims/RINO lies like McStain, telling us what we wanted to hear, only to turn around and do the exact opposite.
Trump is the first former Dim to do exactly what he said he was going to do while campaigning. Hell, Trump is the first person elected, to actually keep his word.

In 2016 I voted for Trump as a Never-Madame-C. I much preferred Cruz.  Frankly, I would have voted for any Republican over her.

Curious if others did the same or perhaps did not vote for Prez at all?

I was done with the GOP, which is why I supported Cruz, and no other Pub. The party has ripped us off for decades, Cruz was the first actual Conservative to run since Reagan, and had it not been for the genius and wherewithal of Trump, Cruz would have won.

However, hindsight being 20/20, it's now pretty obvious Cruz would have been assassinated for not playing along with Marxists in both party's.
Only Trump could have pulled off a win against a coup, backed by both party's.
