History isn't one of my strong points embarrassingly, but I was wondering about this recent display by the Democrat party where they took a knee with these ritual scarves around their neck in celebration of the certain black people in Africa. I read somewhere that the people that they were representing are as follows:

It would seem a little strange, but knowing the history of the Democrat Party it wouldn't surprise me in the least. What I don't understand is how they could be so ignorantly out front about it.

i'd have to say that they really don't know and don't care.  THey picked up that fabric meme from the congressional women's KKK at the beginning of the Trump administration where they wore the white suits in opposition to the will of the American people.   

Additionally, they are arrogant enough to know they can get away with anything and the fake news media will run cover for them.

Thirdly, they have self imposed their political house arrest on themselves and are so assured of their own self importance that they don't care what you or I have to think or to say.   

so it doesn't matter the history or the truth of the matter.  ALL That matters is the photo opportunity...and so many of their supporters...will just see that...and nothing else.

I'm sure you are right they don't care, but they should.
If what I'm asking is true and they have aligned theirselves with a formerly slaving Nation, a Nation that the founding members of the Democratic Party we're probably very familiar with strikes me as astounding when they are doing it to garner black support.
