It takes a mod for SMF for each video host, just a simple script that gives the right host address, they change from time to time but easy to update. You can't do any work around to place a video here, it has to have the helper, youtube has been around so long all the boards usually have it embedded as a default share host. You must use the host player since each are a little different and that's part of the correct address to the video. I'll take a look at SMF mods and see what they use.
