I have been on different message boards that do not have their members in alphabetical order and when you attempt to find a member you have to run through the ENTIRE list to find the member name you are seeking.

I certainly did.! I can also catch mis-spelled words,bad grammar,sloppy writing and other things. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Years ago when I was in grammar school teachers were different back then.All the kids knew that going to school was for the specific purpose of learning.There was no goofing off when it came to the classroom.There was a learning atmosphere and if you got out of line you would be taken to the woodshed when you got home.!

Yep, so far, but I think most are using Mozilla with spell check.
