Readability

Why are some topics, not all but some, so wide that they disappear off the right side of the screen?

One reason is someone posted a pic that was way too big for the page, the other, which has been bugging me due to bad Internet connection, the page fails to load completely or correct.

My Internet goes fast, no problems. But this also occurs with posts that are only text. I cannot read those posts, and all the responses to them are also in the same format - off the right side of the screen on any response that's larger than the typing window on this post.

Browser issue.
If you're using IE or Mozilla, try Iron, much better browser.

Not using either IE or Mozilla. I use Google. Iron would not work with my MAC.

Sometimes if there a long net address it will do that or a copy and paste.  The photo I can go in and adjust and sometimes, I can split the net address but not always.  I have not worked with the large copy and paste yet as that is a lot more time consuming.   You could change your zoom level down when needed.  I have my zoom level set at 170 for my eyes so I have to low it off and on.

Zoom level now is what I need to read things. I guess I'll just live with it and not be able to see or post on those affected threads.

Remember when this happens you also have a scroll bar at the bottom (slide bar) that you can use to move left or right with when this happens.  I just click in the center of the bar and move it back and forth as needed.

It helps to reboot your browser, also, what browser are you using?

Chrome.

And I got back the slide bar to move threads over to the left so I can read what's on the right.

Next time I use my laptop, I'll see what happens with it. It runs Windoze8

Same here, Iron based on Chrome. Try closing your browser and restarting it when it happens.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but didn't feel I'm old enough to start a new one.

What I'm wondering is if you folks have a mobile app that I could read easier when I'm using my iPhone..or iPad..   (Old eyes !..Love your message board.)

Thank you.

Hmmmm, Taxed uses his phone to access the board, so I guess he should answer, but he never mentioned it to be an issue.
