How do I post a photo thats on my computer.
If it was easy everyone would be do'in it.

Just like you would any other photo.
But, the one in your pooter needs a home first, so post it on a site like Fotki or Flikr, I like photobucket myself.
Once you have a home for it, you can use that address to post it on the web.
Hope that clears it up. ;)

First things first. This image is the button to push, to start it off. And by all means, also remember that when you press the button for images, it automatically creates an internet prefix of http:// to the title of the image.

When you use Fotki or (presumably) another image archiving service, and copy THEIR address to paste into a link, this http:// gets added again and invalidates the link in the final post you do make. (It's also true when you copy the URL to this image from within this forum's own operating software.)

Claims have been made that this will be addressed in future tech tweaks here. In the meantime, remember to edit the first http:// simply by pressing DELETE on your keyboard before pasting-in the link to your image host.

Most image hosting sites offer free storage, but force ads onto either or both you AND anyone reading your post.  Fotki inflicts the sender but evidently NOT the end user. It's superb for high-volume storage and it's extremely easy to set up separate new folders by topic.

I pay $12/yr ($36/3-years) for a premium account offering both public and private folders (the private being more handy for segregating your political stuff from other items). I'm now in my fourth year and recommend them wholeheartedly.

ADDED:

Presently it's $1.12/month or $40.50 for 3 years. They do offer free 1-year accounts.
