Do I see a little window that says check complete and then it totally clears what I have written.. I suffered this twice before getting smart and copying my post before trying to correct my spelling.

Is the board trying to tell me something?  :P ;D

I hate the spell check here, better to just use Firefox spell check, it works so much better and doesn't delete your post. :))

Taxed....

Simple Machines 2.0 final  build is now available for download. I am still getting the copy/paste problem, which refuses to let me paste anything from my clipboard in a brand-new build of Firefox 6.0.2 (all settings starting fresh and not carrying-over anything from before).

Copy/paste works in three different document formats (Word 2003, Wordpad, Abiword) but copying from a document does NOT allow pasting it in this forum. I was able to get a copied LINK to post, only once, and it did not repeat the success again. In no case will it allow me to paste text from any source into bracketed QUOTE formatting.

Security settings overall are straight from the dealer, who loaded this build only three or four weeks ago. I've been to the SimpleMachines site looking for tips, but evidently nobody else has posted this problem there.

Four antivirus scans from four separate companies show no infection or rootkit virus in the system.

Using Mozilla, however, I can not even sign in to the Simple Machines forum, but I can get in using Internet Explorer (which is totally unacceptable to me).
