Can you increase the time to modify a post?
How long? It is set to keep people from changing them and claiming "they never said that".
I posted something. Decided to add to it immediately. Page froze. When it got it back up, it was un-modifiable. This was within a minute.
Can you set them independently for each person (or forum level of person)?

Nah, it's a blanket time for every post and poster. I think it's currently set for 20 minutes, after the first few minutes it shows post was edited.
That was no twenty minutes. Two minutes if anything.

Nope, here's the exact setting.
Maximum time after posting to allow edit: 35 minutes

How about 3 hours...and do mods have an edit feature where you can see the original post and then compare it to the modified post?

No, and that sucks! I want to know what was changed, libs are notorious for moving the goal post in the final minutes of the game, then claim they were playing baseball all along.
