Just A Little Reminder

Our regular members know this, but for the new ones, a point about links.
All qouted posts from other sites need to be linked.
By this, I mean to the original source, not a blog or another forum.

And while were on the topic of forums and blogs, we are in direct competition with them, so Do Not post links to either of these, they can do their own advertising.

As an example, if you find a story on Free Republic, look closely, the poster included a link, follow it until you find the original source.
If you can't find an point of origin, then you didn't search hard enough. (one exception Grumpy Old Cripple)

This is not necessarily policy, but rather Copy Right Law.
As to blogs, the same applies, find the original source, otherwise you're probably posting anothers opinion piece.
Be original, post your own opinion and let someone else link back to us.

We are no doubt one of the best forums on the web, only because of the combined expertise and experience of our members, of whom deserve all the credit.
Many people come here for facts and opinion, and rightly so, we are the go to forum for the truth.

I know this because of searches that have produced some of our posts on other forums.

I am not accusing anyone of lying.  I am saying if this is the "go to" place for truth, and maybe 20 members and 120 "guests" are on line, at most, at any one time, then out of a gazillion people on the web there don't seem to be many coming here for "truth."  Relatively speaking, that is.

We have started to grow.  The content of a small member base gives a lot of material to a large guest/visitor base...

We are not so much an opinion site as we are a factual site.
Ive received PM asking for permission to repost some of our content on other sites.
Here is one I got just the other day.
Granted this one wants my help, but just the same, its typical of many people out there.
