Most other forum sites send me an email when anyone posts in a thread that I have posted in. I thought I checked the right boxes on the Modify Profile (http://conservativepoliticalforum.com/profile/?area=notification) page, but I'm not getting emails.

Give this a shot.
To request notifications from a specific board, click the "notify" button in the index of that board.
Top right of board you will see. Click Notify and see if that will help.
When I click on the notify button in the index of the board, it asks if I want to enable notification for new topics. That sounds like I would be notified for all new threads. That's not what I want.
But I got notified for your response in this thread, so maybe it's working now.
