I have posted here from time to time and am also an administrator for Conservative underground.
Yesterday Conservative Cave was brought down by a denial of service attack, we were mobbed as well but they didn't bring us down, last a Friday Glenn Becks Blaze was also down due to high volume traffic for a short time.
Watch your activity logs and be aware this is happening so you can act if necessary.
Thanks RT, we too have been hit with DOS attacks but we have a really good server that automatically kicks up our bandwidth, and blocks the group trying to bring us down.
If anything, look upon it as a badge of honor, we must be doing something right. :thumbsup:
Our server is Subspace networks, ask for David the owner if you want to avoid these attacks in the future, though a bit pricey, but we're never down.

Conservative Caves hosting dropped them because of it and many of them are posting with us until they find a new host, I'm sure some of their members will come here too.
They are all good people accept for a handful of chew toys that we all have.

Yes, I've noticed a large increase in lurkers, they're all welcome, even the chew toys. :biggrin:
I see LNF has been down for nearly three days now, that's another forum most came here to escape, LNF claimed to be Conservative, but it was all a front.
Any indication of the source of these attacks, Russia, China, or just desperate libs afraid of the inevitable come Nov? :laugh:
I just found out there are several conservative forums off line now, webmasters are reporting attacks.
The attack on conservative cave was 15 Gb/s!!!

I think it happen to us yesterday for about 10 min. As site could not be found for about that long is all. Thanks for the up date, I know of two other board down as of yet.

I saw that, our guest count tripled in seconds, but I think Subspace caught it immediately.

I moved this to the poli forum so the members would know the reason if we slow down.
Keep us updated, so your members know when their sites are back up and running.
