Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to see it so you can post something and the page does NOT juimp to the forum's index-page, but instead returns to that thread. You wind up going through a LOT of keystrokes trying to answer more than one post in the thread, the way it is now.
I'd like a key to the executive washroom.I can't even crap in peace with all the toe tapping kwiller is doing in the public restroom. Thanks for asking.
I'd like to change my home room seat please. Harry keeps tricking kwiller into pulling his fingerand the ensuing aroma is enough to gag a maggot. Thanks for asking.
Warning: this topic has not been posted in for at least 120 days.Unless you're sure you want to reply, please consider starting a new topic. One other issue has been bubbling here for about two weeks, where Mozilla Firefox has a problem with pasting text or links into a message-box. The problem does not manifest by using either Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. Most of the time, any attempt to paste leads to an abbreviated drop-down menu which does not allow pasting OR copying. I've never seen this menu until this problem, and it is evidently not under discussion at the SimpleMachines forums for site administrators. Perhaps it should be, considering how many Mozilla users there are.Taxed for one credits my use of older computer equipment using Windows XP (still in use by roughly half of all computer users, last I read). Maybe nobody updated a DLL file, or something. Maybe so. That's where SimpleMachines in their geekiness wisdom can write a fix for that one. A lot of people would presumably benefit, until they too buy Win7 or Win8 and leave a stable platform behind.I also note that the image-size allotted for the CPF banner image has changed, now showing only the top part of the image in Mozilla. This is easy to fix, and should be.

Great forum ... but it would be close to perfect if it had a one-click "Find My Posts" feature.Just saying ...Thanks
Now when you quote, you won't have hundreds to deal with, just the person you're quoting.Any other changes you'd like to see?I'm still working on the warning that someone posted while you were posting crap. Also changed the edit post wait time, from 90 seconds to 20 sec.Do you want an indefinite time to edit posts, or a cut off tome allowed, so your opponent can't go back and change what they said?Right now, it's set to "0", meaning you can edit it a year from now.
Having dealt with posters who edit posts to change the original point after a few responses I don't believe a post should be able to be edited after a response has been posted. If that is not possible due to the open end on a specific time I would say 30 minutes before a post is "locked".
