I have some dietary challenges that I have been dealing with the last several years. But as with a lot of things when we focus on one particular area others get ignored. I am wheat intolerant (my daughter is celiac) and hypothyroid. This makes it difficult for me to have any wheat (gluten) products - I have adapted to that already. But I also suspect that I am lactose intolerant and I carry a very large sugar dragon around with me.
I had my bi-yearly visit with my holistic doctor back in mid December. She challenged me to go back into a Whole 30 and see what other foods may be bothering my system. So I started that day-her challenge to start at that moment - and did great for the first 6 days. Then Christmas came and my daughter had made gluten free pancakes just for us - how could I say no. When you mess up a Whole 30 you start from day 1 again. SO now I am on day 13 and doing good.
I had completed a Whole 30 a few years ago but old habits creep back. Anyone else completed one? Any good recipes?
