Title: What is the difference in taste about Making tea in different teapots?
Post by: a wild cat on November 21, 2019, 11:18:43 PM
I have some green tea at home. I usually like to drink them very much. I heard that the tea leaves made with different teapots have different flavors. Is this true? Does anyone know that these teapots are suitable for making tea?

Interesting question. My wife is tea drinker, I am a pot of freshly ground coffee daily, but when I make tea I nuke it in a clear glass cup, my wife will only drink it if boiled in a glass tea kettle. She claims nuking it tastes different. Seems same to me. lol Neither of us like green tea, no taste. Favorite blends, Red Rose and Trader Joe's and occasionally Tetley. Experiment is best advice, but ease and convenience is a plus with tea bags.

The only reason I know this is because my ex-girlfriend used to drink tea constantly (preferred it to coffee) Its not the teapot that extracts the most flavor, more so the heat. While there could be specifically designed teapots that could extract more flavors, I have yet to see one.

Seeing taxed having edited the OP, seeing that this is a new poster who right away started 2 topics which were the same but contained an external link that now has been removed by the Taxed: i presume that this person only wanted to advertise under the guise of asking a question.

Yep, Taxed just edits, while I ban and delete them. Not a big deal.
