We do goose, we live right across the road  from a huge row of turkey barns, I see a little too much of the turkey industry to buy turkey.

As for sides, all the usuals, stuffing, cranburry sauce, creamed corn, green bean cassarole, mashed and/or sweet potatoes.

I have a Cranberry Waldorf salad that is a big hit for anyone I share it with.

Shared it with a co-worker who caught her family after dinner standing around the counter eating it out of the bowl and asking if she could make more.

My family has made it for years.  We call it Barbie Salad because it turns Barbie pink.  The kids, including my now two grown daughters, either request I make it or have learned to make it themselves.  For some reason they think it turns out better when I make it.     Toy

Pig Roast! Freaks kids out if they see it, but for a crowd, and if you are willin to pay up, can't be beat.
On a smaller scale, we make about two pounds of cauliflower withh a 1/2lb of bacon in it, cook it up in a big cast iron skillet tastes; amazing if cooked right. In addition, being of Polish descent kielbasa and poor man's pierogis are a favorite.
