Ingredients:
* 1 pound fresh green beans
* olive oil
* salt & pepper

Preparation:
1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2) If the fresh green beans have pointed ends, trim the ends off.
3) Place green beans on a cookie sheet (line with foil if you want to make clean up super easy) and drizzle with olive oil (I put my thumb over the opening of the olive oil bottle and make a few passes over the green beans).
4) Salt and pepper the oiled green beans to taste and mix the beans around the cookie sheet to coat beans with oil and seasonings.
5) Put in oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
6) Remove from oven and serve.

Mr. Mouse tried this on his grill (of course, around here, women are not allowed near "his" grill  ;) ), nicely simple and delicious. Kay, is the recipe for your sauce posted?

Sorry, MM. I forgot all about it. Here it tis....

1 tip, should you veer off coarse on the ingredients, it will not taste the same.

HELLMANN'S GREEN BEAN SAUCE

1 C Hellmann's mayonnaise
4 hard-boiled eggs yolks, mashed
3 TBsp. peanut oil
1/2 tsp mustard
1 large clove garlic, minced.
1 Tbsp. grated onion
dash of Tabasco
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
squirt of lemon juice
greated egg whites

Combine ingredients in order listed. (It will not taste right if you add the egg whites any place, but last and it will not taste right subbing other ingredients.)

This sauce is worth your time!  ;)

Mighty_Mouse

Thanks, Kay, the next time we grill the beans, we'll try the sauce. Sounds yummy.  :)

Please do not sub Helmann's for any other mayonnaise. (I tried it with Bl Plate. It was not comparable to Helmann's.)

Kay, you have my solemn promise: no messing with stated ingredients. I promise to write down said recipe as posted, prepare food in order stated, and eat accordingly.  ;D

OK. This weekend, we did the beans in the oven, and made the sauce. Very tasty, and healthy to boot. Many thanks for the recipes.  :)
