It is a place to find and share recipes.  You can browse around or even list ingredients you have on hand and it will find recipes using those items.  I have found some very good, and interesting, recipes there.  There are contests for recipes submitted.

Kay, you probably already figured out that I'm bad about tweaking recipes, so I've tried some online ones, and they're OK.  ;)

I subscribe to Food Network magazine, and here's their website, they've got some really good, healthy recipes that are quick and easy (my favorites):

Yeah, you and I both enjoy 'tweaking' recipes. I bet many recipes out here have been tweaked and so it has me wondering what the original recipe may have taste like? For example, I like spicey. That is probably not a good thing for many people like bland or a modest amount of seasonings.

My best recipes were from family and friends, but I will let you all know of any recipes I find from the sites and rate as good ones.

Tonite, I am creating my very own recipe. I have been pondering over this one. Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya and of course, I am mentally working to make it an easy one without much fuss.

My whole family loves spicy; me not so much. I'm one of those picky eaters, LOL. Let me know how the jambalaya goes, it's one of my kids' favorites.  :) Like I already said, my problem is that I don't measure anything, so it's hard to write my recipes down, but my daughter is helping me with that. I really like the justapinch website, I already see some recipes I'd love to try.

All is not really well, but it's OK, more or less...I have a broken left leg. I was sitting on the floor with Jackson with my legs stretched out ( I can't bend them very much), playing shootout, and he got all excited and ran at me. He tripped and fell on my leg, right under the knee, and the bone just crumpled. So it's cleaned out and up, reset, and I have a full-leg hot pink cast. I've got lots of autographs on it, and I look really funny now! The good part is I have lots of time now to post, so maybe I'll get to 500 quick...Taxed promised me Sean Connery at 500.  :)) :P
