My wife got her shot about 5 years ago when she was in the hospital, that was the first I heard about the shot.  I got my shot in Dec of 2010.  It is something to think about. If your 65 or older you would only need it once so they say.  Even with it getting down below 30º outside I enjoy getting out and doing something.

We got ours a few years ago. We also get our flu shots each year.

Very much so ST even Solar should have one also.  It could save a lot of problems down the road, as he like being outside alot aslo.  With you thinking about retirement, you should check into other shots you should have before going off your work insurance if it does not follow you into retirement. Also things like blood work and a EKG, so there all up to date.  I just had to have a EKG done as it has been 25 years for me.  I and my wife are some of the lucky ones. as my old work place insurance followed me into retirement.  But then I also put in 40 year with them.

My insurance will follow me but at a higher cost.  I plan on using the next few years to get as much "fixed" as I can.     As to Solar probably a good idea for him to get the shot.  He is exposed to so much more since I moved in...

My wife dont like going into town much.   I am surprised my wife dont ask me to wash my hands or take a shower after getting home from a trip to town.  lol

Monday through Friday I am in "town" .  Convenient for Solar as he very rarely has to leave the mountain.  I can get most anything we need while there or on my way home.
