This study tells me I'm finally doing something right. You know about my "ice cream (made with bananas, strawberries or blueberries or other fruits) I have at least once a day. My cat also begs me to make chicken fajitas nearly every evening. He gets most of the chicken, and I get the onions and the green peppers.

QuoteA new study has found that women who eat at least three servings of blueberries and strawberries a week can reduce the risk of  a heart attack by 32 percent. Eating onions five times a week is even better; it lowered the risk for women by 73 percent.  http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/extras/2013/01/14/study-berries-lower-heart-attack-risk-for-women/

Love those fruits,,,,, just all the more reason to have them around!

My favorite is blue berry/pomgranite juice and I have never met an onion I didn't like.  We used to pull them from the fields when I was a kid, wash them off in the irrgation and eat them like an apple.  It does have the effect of keeping people out of your face for a few days.
