I use one just to monitor my heart and sleep. I average between 4 hrs 49 mins avg to 5 hrs of sleep, with at least more than an hour of deep sleep, while Toy needs her 8 hrs, but often fails to get an hour of deep.
I wonder if there's a connection there, where someone that gets more deep sleep, doesn't need as many hours of light sleep?
Anyone to corroborate my thought on sleep?

Almost all my life I have run on 4 hrs. of sleep.  I remember it started back when I was a kid.  Don't know about deep sleep, but I know when I go to bed.  It takes less then 1 min and I am gone.

I'm kind of the same way, one thing I learned from this thing, is that nearly the moment I fall asleep, I go into deep sleep, and that seems to be the answer to not needing as much sleep.
If I take a nap, I immediately hit deep sleep and can go for another easy 24 hours without feeling tired.

In my younger days I often did not sleep for 2 days at a time.  But when I did, I just would sleep for 4 hrs.  I have a older brother that sleeps less then I do even to this day.
