Every year I promise myself to be healthier "this" year.  You know....give up coffee (that won't happen), give up chocolate, (maybe for a couple of weeks) or maybe just cut back on the sweets. (that one is doable right up to December).

This coming year I resolve to:

  • try at least one new vegetable a month

  • Exercise 30 minutes a day (consistently)

  • plan dinners so I don't get sucked into the fast food lane on the way home

    What are your plans?

   You go Elfie!  My gym is the mountain.  A trip or two each weekend up and down and I should be good.  Although my daughter bought me a Zumba for Kinect.  I didn't realize how uncoordinated I had become .

Stay warm and safe Elfie.  When we had the big snow storm and freezing temps in early December I pretty much stayed in for almost a week.

We are ready for it... I am just a little concerned with power lines. Snow of up to 8 starts this afternoon then unheard of sub zero temps til Wednesday.   But if the power goes we will have a house full and that's OK.
